How To Install DIY Car Spoiler?

carbon fiber spoiler

1. Clean

Before applying any molding trim, be sure to clean the area. Car spoiler will stick best on a surface free of dirt, dust, road grime, and wax, so be sure to remove any stubborn spots, including leftover adhesive residue.

2. Measure

Inspect the length of the trunk area to prepare for trimming. Just hold it against the trunk itself to see how they measure up.

3. Trim

Make a mark at the point of trimming but be sure to include the size of the end caps. Trim with a good razor to size.

4. Apply

Before applying use the 3m adhesive pads included with the spoiler. Apply the 3m adhesive to the surface and let sit for 3 minutes. Peel off the backing from one side of the spoiler, and begin sticking it to the trunk, working from one side to the other. Continually apply pressure to make sure you have a secure installation.
